Overview

We’re looking to add an innovative, results-driven Application Developer (RPG Programmer) with a track record of proven success to our team. This individual will:

  • Create and maintain a variety of new and existing applications on the AS400 platform with moderate to complex designs.
  • Assist in the development and technical application design/documentation on projects.
  • Develop appropriate requirements, scope and estimates for projects.
  • Provide unit testing for coding changes.
  • Hours flexible within 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with on-call availability required.

Qualifications

 

  • S. in computer science, computer information systems or equivalent degree; equivalent work experience can be substituted for degree.
  • 3+ years of experience with RPGLE, CL, SQL and FTP required, but not limited to Java and Cobol.
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and development.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to operate well under pressure while successfully managing and executing multiple projects in order to meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a variety of clients and internal staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GoAnywhere and MKS a plus
