The Human Resources Business Engagement Solutions Director will be a strategic partner to leaders and internal stakeholders providing full-cycle human resources leadership for the organization. This position is a critical, highly-visible role working with senior leaders in a culture of transformation, strategically partnering with leaders to drive strategy, and acting as trusted counsel and advisor to the business.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders in the organization to identify, develop and drive key initiatives that will support the short term and long term strategies of the business.
  • Conduct organizational assessments and develop/drive initiatives to close gaps and implement necessary solutions to ensure a high-performing workforce; provide candid and constructive feedback to leaders about talent moves, gaps, promotions and growth opportunities.
  • Oversight of collecting data for HR strategic updates to CEO, Senior Management and others
  • Help drive improvement to human resources systems, policies and processes.
  • Scans and benchmarks the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices / trends to influence the business and HR agenda.
  • Partner effectively with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations and HR Operations to support People strategies and plans.
  • Provides leadership in designing and executing activities designed to enhance morale and employee commitment.
  • Recommend and assist with implementing employee communication and brand management programs and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and drive business results.
  • Develop culture change and engagement solutions to address organizational challenges and evolutions.
  • Facilitate employee and leadership focus group sessions to garner insights and make recommendations on what’s needed.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing programs and where necessary design and deliver cost effective solutions



  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources with emphasis on leadership and strategic direction.
  • 5 years of management experience required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Phycology or other applicable discipline preferred.
  • Graduate degree in business, HR or a related field.
  • Relevant field plus 7 or more years of progressive success as a strategic HR business partner/manager. Proven experience managing and implementing large scale HR programs and/or initiatives across a business unit.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines and current federal and state respective employment laws and labor laws.
  • Demonstrated HR generalist skills including but not limited to the areas of employee relations, compensation, training and development, staffing, workforce planning, performance management, change management, succession planning, ability to coach, counsel and influence all levels of management and appropriately balance management and employee needs.
  • Program and Project Management experience required.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and produce program outlines for creative brainstorms.
  • Experience working with, coaching and influencing senior leaders.
  • Experience working with teams located nationally.
  • Ability to travel to worksites in other states.
