CO-OP Financial Services is looking for a Risk Analyst in our Risk department. This position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
The Risk Analyst contributes to the on-going creation of Falcon monitoring strategies for supporting fraud monitoring for Payment (Card) Services. The Risk Analyst assists with advisory services with regards to risk product education, fraud mitigation, and Authorization Block recommendations to counter fraud trends sometimes requiring early/late hours and on call hours during weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
This position requires 2-4 years of direct experience or 5-7 years of experience in a related area along with basic knowledge of the payment operations industry, including exposure to EFT. Experience with risk management practices is also required. Must have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software applications. Bachelor’s degree and training experience are preferred.
We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills and someone who has strong independent analytical abilities. The individual must also have good organizational skills, be detail oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Training skills and comfort in front of groups preferred. Some overnight travel required.
