We are seeking a talented Application Development Supervisor to lead a team of web developers in daily project work and provide them with what they need to succeed. 

Qualifications

Must haves:

  • Need to have empathy with team, but be able to drive team and projects to meet deadlines. 
  • Be able to delegate tasks to other team members. 
  • Need to be transparent with the flow of information both up and down the chain. 
  • Be an advocate for the organization and the employees!

Technical Skills:

  • Experience coding in more than two development languages (C#,VB.NET, Javascript/jQuery, Java, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience programming in web development tools (Visual Studio, IIS, TFS, etc) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of finance and credit card systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Web Services, Web API, MVC, JSON, etc a plus
  • Native mobile application development experience (Android, iOS, etc) a plus.

Experienced Web Analyst Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
  • Experience managing a team of developers. 
  • 10 years application development experience preferred.
  • Experience with an agile methodology a plus. 
  • Must possess knowledge of object orientated programming and web development technologies and be able to help scope out projects. 
  • Knowledge of automated testing and TDD a plus. 
  • Advanced understanding of modern OS architecture concepts and communications protocols.
  • Advanced database design and development.
  • Solid modern graphical user interface and development methodologies.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
  • Good to excellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills at multi-product/multi-environment level to troubleshoot software defects and mitigate the issues they cause.
  • Advanced skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
  • Understanding and awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to express and document complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical staff, non-technical staff, end-users for requirements gathering, testing, training, and outcome validation.
  • Solid project planning and project management techniques to lead small projects and/or group initiatives.
  • Ability to work within guidelines and rigid time frames while also having flexibility.
