Overview

We are seeking a talented IT Application Support Manager to join our team!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Technical understanding of systems and applications, their dependencies and interactions between systems, networks and databases.
  • Ability to establish the process, identify process improvements and adapt changes for the Systems Analyst team.
  • Ability to create the 24/7 support for the applications.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Expert skills in leadership and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express and document complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Person must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with technical staff, non-technical staff, and end-users. Good English-language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in related disciplines.
  • Expert technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation. Good to excellent understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Expert technical knowledge in web applications, network, systems, iSeries and systems analysis
  • Expert knowledge of ITIL/ITSM concepts and principles
  • Knowledge of finance and credit card systems is essential
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices of and service management solutions. Strong technical writing skills
  • Polished presentation skills
  • 10+ years’ technical experience required
  • 5+ years’ plus management experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a leader, trainer and coach
