Overview

CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Project Manager I to manage and lead project teams of 5-15 individuals while coordinating all required resources.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Scope projects and develop project plans; estimate project timeframes to determine internal/external requirements, including budget; manage and modify schedules as needed.
  • Provide effective, accurate and consistent communication to a wide variety of project teams, management, external clients and vendors.
  • Conduct scheduled project status meetings with clients to gather requirements, provide updates and discuss possible changes; keep internal resources and teams updated and informed.
  • Assure goals, objectives, budget and quality standards for all projects are met.
  • Provide project-related training to coworkers and clients.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is delivered and maintained at all times; must understand client needs, set and meet reasonable expectations, verify satisfaction, take corrective action when necessary, etc.
  • Support strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Prefer 1-3 years of ATM, credit, debit and/or prepaid experience.
  • 3+ years of direct experience in a project management capacity including scheduling, project assignment, resource allocation and risk management.
  • Knowledge of business planning, product development, internal product delivery processes and services, and the financial services industry.
  • Ability to execute effective team meetings and establish/maintain rapport with internal/external points of contact.  
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with little supervision; effectively prioritize work and manage time between multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Active listening skills and the ability to communicate strategic ideas effectively in both written and verbal communications throughout all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other software solutions.
  • Collaborative individual with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and strong work ethic with a high level of integrity.
