CO-OP Financial Services is currently looking for a Senior Manager, Total Rewards in the HR Operations department. This position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Des Moines, IA, or Fort Worth, TX
The Senior Manager, Total Rewards will design, develop and implement compensation, benefits, and incentives that enables the company to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Utilize knowledge of best practices to develop strategic, cost-effective, competitive, innovative, high quality total rewards programs. Manage the planning, implementation, maintenance and administration of these programs efficiently and accurately ensuring programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
What your day will look like:
This position requires a minimum of 8-10 years of compensation and benefits experience including 3 years of managerial experience. This individual must have experience with Human Capital Management system, demonstrated proficiency in laws and regulations governing benefits including Affordable Care Act, ERISA, HIPAA, IRS regulations, Section 125, and COBRA with demonstrated proficiency in laws and regulations governing compensation including FLSA and Title VII. Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, a demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers, excellent organizational skills, the ability to think strategically with supporting analytical skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Preferred Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation, preferred. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field is preferred along with an understanding of 401k investment funds.
To perform this job successfully, the Senior Manager, Total Rewards will have a strong working knowledge of benefit regulations, market trends, and program design and maintain working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation and benefits policies/practices, including ACA, ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA and other applicable Department of Labor (DOL) and/or tax laws and regulations; fulfills compliance and reporting requirements. Must have applied technical knowledge in HRIS and compensation.
We are looking for someone with project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate across business units in a diverse, fast-paced organization and a proven track record leading successful compensation and benefits initiatives and projects. Must have business and financial acumen including deep understanding of tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory issues related to benefits along with effective communication, negotiation, problem solving, and leadership skills. Must be proficient in Human Resource Information Systems, have the ability to work independently and broad knowledge of compensation concepts; has experience determining salary ranges, by using salary surveys
