Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks. Work with the application development and product management teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.




  • Establish design guidelines (with style guides) and best practices around the user interface and user experience.
  • Build strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Actively supports CO-OP’s strategic future, culture and leadership practices.
  • Proactively pursues development opportunities and show expected progress or learning plan.
  • Solid Web Design background.
  • Understanding of responsive design and drive for consistency across a range of contexts, devices, and operating systems
  • Proficiency with contemporary prototyping and graphical design tools
  • Portfolio demonstrating both UX and visual design across mobile and desktop products; deep knowledge of design principles like layout, typography, and color should be apparent.
  • Proficiency with contemporary prototyping and graphical design tools.
  • Solid skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Understanding and awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Ability to multi-task with outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills with an eye towards detail.
  • Good team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project team environment. Open to feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Excellent problem solving ability with a strong sense of curiosity.
  • Experience with Agile/incremental development framework, with ability to introduce UI/UX changes in an incremental fashion.
  • Ability to interface at a strategic level to contribute to large scale, strategic direction as well as at a tactical level to partner with delivery teams on small scale incremental change.



  • 3-5 years previous UI/UX experience required
  • Hands-on experience with user research methodologies, persona formation, usability testing
  • BS in Human Computer Interaction or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
  • Knowledge of finance and credit card systems is preferred.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum Teams is preferred.
  • Self-starter
  • Team builder and player.
  • Able to deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Must show a high degree of character and integrity.
  • Must be results focused.
