Overview

CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented RFP Analyst to be responsible for managing all aspects of Response For Proposals (RFP's) by reviewing, researching and responding to all RFPs as requested by various CO-OP department, staff, Clients and/or client representatives (consultants) continually highlighting CO-OP’s strategic advantages as being a global, premier thought leader, product innovator in the Debit, Credit, Emerging Payments and Call Center industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze RFP requirements and identifies who in the CO-OP organization can provide the most current strategic solutions responses and manages the process of response organization and marketization of responses.
  • Prepares RFPs by determining concept; gathering and formatting information; input proper corporate branding elements, writing drafts; obtaining reviewers approvals.
  • Ensure RFPs/proposal content follows CO-OP’s messaging and branding standards.
  • Understands project deadlines and meets expectations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of RFI/RFP reviews. data gathering and formatting, from qualification to winning proposal creation.
  • Update and maintain applicable responses into an RFP Database/warehouse environment.
  • Gather information from subject matter experts (SME’s), department specialists and all levels of management team as needed and/or directed.
  • Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understand the recognition industry; blogs, analyst reports, technical details and product, competition, etc.
  • Helps to drive a competitive solution based on client and market requirements, product roadmap and positioning needs.
  • Understand competitive landscape to position product features and futures, and applying to RFP/proposal content.
  • Develop and position a company market plan by working with all departments to execute.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of product positioning, explaining key benefits and targeting customer’s needs, working as a product evangelist , working with the AEs, RSMs and/or SRMs to formulate final solution responses.
  • Role is strategic paired with tactical.  
  • Understand competitive landscape to position product features and futures, and applying to RFP/proposal content.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 3-5 years industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills and capabilities.
  • Write in a clear and consistent format to answer each RFI/RFP questions.
  • Proficient updating and maintaining responses in Qvidian or other REP Database/warehouse solution preferred.
  • High proficiency with Adobe and MS Office applications including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research and organizational skills.
  • Presentation Skills, Written Communication, Technical Documentation, Problem Solving, Deadline-Oriented, Process Improvement, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Market Knowledge.
  • Ability to be flexible on hours when necessary.
  • Collaborative approach.
