CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Web Content & Media Manager to be responsible for guiding content optimization across various marketing platforms. Additionally, this position will develop and implement the organization’s digital communications strategy as it relates to our multiple external websites and applications. This position is also responsible for promoting the organization’s core messages online, increasing user engagement and traffic, and developing and maintaining a consistent format and tone for all components of the organization’s websites.

This role will collaborate closely with the communications team to infuse SEO more effectively in all content produced by the marketing team. This role will identify how new content can be optimized to speak to various target audiences. Additionally, this position will support the selection and development of compelling on-brand content for new and existing franchisees to be leveraged on and offline. This position is critical to implementing marketing strategies and bringing them to life via content across all mediums, domains and platforms.


  • Manage owned channel’s (Corporate site, blog, resource center, THINK) day-to-day operations to ensure content, style and appearance are updated.
  • Take a lead role in maintaining and developing our sites.
  • Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content.
  • Create and implement content schedules for content owners to produce or update content across our properties.
  • Product maps and visualizations of the site to help stakeholders understand the structure and function of the sites.
  • Create and update sitemaps to document website architecture.
  • Work with the digital marketing analyst to translate learnings into site changes to continue improving on our goals.
  • Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript on the sites as needed.
  • Own our digital asset library to ensure consistency across web, print and sales enablement materials being used.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks on new content and updates being pushed live.
  • Liaison between Technical Support and MX web properties to ensure update, speed and reliability of our properties.
  • Act as brand guardian within the interactive space, ensuring all agencies and internal resources are within guidelines, coordinated and properly representing CO-OP to the marketplace.
  • Lead search strategy, budget management and search analytics. Utilize search including SEO and SEM to develop awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Ensure web compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ability to create graphics and do basic photo and video editing when needed.
  • Responsible for working with writers to add graphics and multimedia content for posts and articles.
  • Taking a leading role in maintaing and developing a site.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention.




  • Advanced knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Git
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Experience with CMS and CRM applications, marketing automation and integrating with systems and data sources through API’s. Specific knowledge with Sitecore, Wordpress, and Salesforce.
  • Strong proficiency in Social media analytics tools.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of server access and configuration.
  • Working knowledge of online analytics tools, including the ability to perform data mining to analyze online trends and report on site and campaign statistics and performance preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Proven working experience in social and digital media marketing.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing communication or related field along with a minimum of seven (5) years’ related experience in online marketing or digital communications is required.
  • 3+ years of experience producing web, e-mail and social media content
  • 3+ years of copywriting experience; digital and e-mail channels strongly preferred.
