    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Compensation Programs Analyst to be responsible for providing high quality compensation, financial and operational analyses to meet growing and changing needs of CO-OP Financial Services. Coordinates the administration and communication of the base, variable and incentive compensation programs, reports, tools, policies and processes. Actively participates or leads data analysis and reporting projects relating to various employment, financial and/or operational initiatives. As an integral member of HR and a partner with Finance, this position ensures compensation and financial programs align with the organization’s objectives and Total Rewards philosophy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Act as subject matter expert, consultant and advisor to HR Business Partners focusing on broad-based compensation programs related to base pay and variable incentive pay.
    • Manage compensation programs from design to implementation.
    • Develops and maintains compensation structures and solutions that enable the company to successfully compete in the labor marketplace.
    • Evaluate and determine job grades based on position description, market data, and internal comparison.
    • Understand and analyze compensation data and ensures key plan features are in alignment with business strategy and are competitive and affordable.
    • Review proposed salary actions (base salary, adjustments, promotions, etc.) to ensure conformance with established guidelines and policies.
    • Complete benchmarking analyses by participating in and gathering data from salary surveys, assessing organization’s market position and developing recommended adjustments to align compensation programs with organizational objectives and total rewards strategy.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve concerns and issues relating to compensation plans.
    • Research new compensation and incentive programs to support organization’s objectives.
    • Organize, model, analyze and interpret data.
    • Advise management and HR partners on compensation actions for employees and educates others on compensation principles, practices and programs.
    • Identify, design and implement process improvements.
    • Develop analytical tools and statistical reports and dashboards to monitor and track compensation plan performance; project future payouts and communicate important trends and measures to management.
    • Partner with finance, operations and HR in developing annual budgets for compensation programs and integrating into organization’s financial budget.
    • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of business, finance, human resources and our industry.
    • Understand country, federal, state government regulations and laws to ensure appropriate governance and compliance.

    Qualifications

    • Applies technical knowledge of departmental principles and procedures.
    • Strong financial/business acumen sufficient to understand financial, operational and human resource dynamics of the organization and marketplace and apply effectively to problem solving.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative thinking to synthesize complex and diverse information and apply intuition and experience to complement data. Advance Excel skills.
    • Skill in applying statistical methods and computer application tools to resolve complex mathematical, financial and statistical problems.
    • Demonstrated planning, multi-tasking, organization and project management skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information, educate and advise leaders, present recommendations to executive leaders and influence decision making.
    • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers.
    • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Five (5) years’ Human Resources experience with a minimum three (3) years' progressive work in compensation.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in laws and regulations governing compensation including FLSA and Title VII.
    • Understanding of business/sales strategies and plans, experience in analyzing data (financial/numerical in nature) and visualizing patterns or similarities to form general rules or conclusions.
    • Ability to maintain objective perspective in order to provide appropriate compensation solutions.
    • Experience with a Human Capital Management system.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
    • HR Business Partner/Generalist experience a plus.
