  • Overview

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We're seeking a talented Sr. Credit Specialist to work with new and existing clients regarding product set up and system questions. Ideal candidates will possess demonstrated experience researching and troubleshooting a wide variety of issues, preferably in the cards industry.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Collaborate with clients, applicable vendors, and internal teams to guide or input configuration parameters for program implementation or enhancement requests.
    • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution.
    • Incorporate methods of ensuring accuracy in all system configurations.
    • Continually develop and enhance testing process for quality output prior to implementation of solutions.
    • Provide excellent customer support
    • Keep informed on new products, product enhancements, system changes and compliance issues.
    • Lead or assist with other projects as assigned.

    • Effectively communicate complex, detailed information in a precise and timely manner to our clients.
    • Be a thought leader for innovative ways to continuously improve processes that result in higher quality and client satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience with First Data systems preferred but not required.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Superior technical skills.
    • An eye for detail.
    • PC knowledge, especially Microsoft Office experience.
    • Strong project and time management skills are required.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities required.
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities in order to meet client expectations.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to take independent initiative to “do it right then go beyond."
    • High attention to detail and ability to maintain performance accuracy.
    • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills required.
    • Strong desire to grow and develop card industry knowledge.
