  • Overview

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Training and Development Consultant to be responsible for designing and delivering process and procedural based curriculum according to adult learning principles and training models.


    This position is in the Des Moines, Iowa location.




    • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate blended learning that is aligned with adult learning principles for new and existing clients (both internal and external)
    • Participate in the implementation of new or changing products and services in the payment and training industry.
    • Manage training relationships while demonstrating CO-OP's brand and values.
    • Able to adapt independently to emotionally charged situations while maintaining positive relationships.
    • Onsite, client training and troubleshooting (20-30% travel is required).


    • Applied adult learning principles and the ADDIE training model.
    • Deep knowledge of adult learning, and training program design and development.
    • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
    • Bachelor's Degree in education, adult learning, or related field; or equivalent related work experience.
    • 1 – 3 years adult learning experience.
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems.
    • Demonstrate Emotional Intelligence to build interpersonal relationships.
    • Ability to learn and use new systems quickly (including, but not limited to: industry/company applications, Articulate, InDesign, SnagIt, Microsoft Office Suite).
    • Time management and organizational skills.
    • Analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Payment processing, First Data, Mastercard, Visa (preferred).
    • Display high vigilance of data security.
