  • The Opportunity

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Corporate Development & Strategic Relationship Manager to be responsible for working with internal and external partners to develop analysis, create process documentation and conduct research supporting Corporate Development and Strategic Relationship activities.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Create detailed financial models, market and company analysis pertaining to corporate development and partner opportunities.
    • Conduct, consolidate and prepare for executive review data and research findings related to new market opportunities.
    • Gather information and develop supporting documentation to complete Post Investment Reviews for active investments.
    • Gather, track and publish for internal executive consumption research on M&A trends in financial services and the credit union market specifically.
    • Support analysis and research necessary for special projects as needed.
    • Support ongoing tracking and measurement needs related to strategic partners and corporate development opportunities.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

     

    • 5+ yrs. experience in an analytical role within the financial services industry.
    • Experience leveraging internal and external information to form insights pertaining to product investments, pricing strategy, acquisition opportunities and new market evaluation.
    • Experience in a functional organization outside of Finance, such as Product, Corporate Development, Marketing, etc.
    • College degree required.
    • Ability to create complex financial and analytical models, using data to develop insights and conclusions.
    • Ability to gather qualitative and quantitative data points and summarize impacts to CO-OP, draw conclusions, make recommendations.
    • Ability to synthesize complex analytical concepts into impactful presentations in Microsoft Powerpoint.
    • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with both internal and external partners.
