  • Overview

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Network Implementation Coordinator I to be responsible for working s with credit unions, data processors, switches, and both internal and external customers of CO-OP Shared Branching to support all gateways of the Next Generation Network (NGN). This project managers/data coordinator will be responsible for coordination of vendors and credit unions in the conversion from an existing switch to a new communications switch.  There will be 1800 of these over the balance of the assignment. 



    • Responsible for a working knowledge of credit union services, customer fee billing needs and operations; must be familiar with the various products and service offerings of CO-OP Shared Branching, including mobile, My Deposit, CMC, etc.
    • Provides team support for new product implementations helping develop procedures and policies for the team.
    • May provide lead role with product management in developing new products utilizing shared branching environment.
    • Lead resource for the implementations team.
    • Coordinate accurate implementation of all CO-OP Shared Branching Products.
    • Makes decisions regarding changing and waiving implementation or billing fees for clients.
    • Provides direction and instruction to the Network Implementations Coordinator and Network Assistant.
    • Reviews and manages implementation projects based upon clients need.
    • May travel to client site to train on network procedures
    • Work with all related vendors and staff to coordinate installation activities and help deliver quality products to the participant.
    • Responsible to keep User Support Manager and staff informed of any pertinent information that may impact a participant’s services, whether initiated by the participant or data processor, etc.
    • Responsible for maintaining documentation and forms as needed.
    • Responsible to keep User Support Manager and staff informed of any pertinent information or activities that may impact network rules.
    • Coordinate and assist with special projects.
    • Oversee that paperwork is complete and the appropriate parties notified when billing changes are needed.
    • Responsible for database implementation of all acquirer and issuer network applications.
    • Adhere to client confidentiality.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to maintain positive relationships.

    • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in project roles functioning in a leadership positions managing tasks and delivering successfully with very good database and organization skills.  Degree or related experience in project coordination and management or information systems.
    • Telecommunications / Switch experience in the financial services industry highly preferred.
    • Proven abilities in managing tasks and processes of internal and external users. 
    • Strong interaction with customers and vendors.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
    • Experience and willingness to be on the phone for extended periods of time on calls during projects with vendors and colleagues.
    • Prefer candidates that have worked in a remote role in previous positions.
