  • Overview

    The Training & Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with course maintenance and training preparations according to adult learning principles and training models.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Supporting training delivery for new and existing clients (both internal and external).
    • Planning, organizing and monitoring training sessions.
    • Maintaining websites: updating content, uploading documentation, creating registrations
    • Researching and reporting on training inquiries/tickets
    • Understand products and services offered and apply that knowledge to Education Services activities.
    • Maintaining training reporting and documentation for internal and external clients.
    • Able to adapt independently to emotionally charged situations while maintaining positive relationships.
    • Ability to identify and fully understand all applications, technologies and competencies that require training. 
    • Creatively co-facilitates training using appropriate delivery methods to a variety of audiences and skill levels.
    • Organize, develop and obtain training manuals, documentation, guides and course materials such as handouts, QRGs and visual materials. 
    • Customize training and training materials with client specific data using basic principles of instructional design and adult learning.
    • Develop or update training/process documentation and job aids related to procedural changes, system modifications, new products, new systems and/or technical training solutions.
    • Follow through on tasks needed to complete and close out training sessions, such as classroom set-up/take-down, creating/resetting data in training environments, researching take-a-ways and follow-up on pre/post learner activities.
    • Coordinating training program/project logistics and administrative support for training program/project team members, including but not limited to scheduling of web conferences and instructor-led classroom training sessions.
    • Maintain all class and department records necessary for audit, billing, implementation and performance purposes.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or course work in business, writing, education, adult learning, or related field; Or 1-2 years of equivalent, related work experience

    • Ability to learn and use new systems quickly (including, but not limited to: industry/company applications, Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft Office suite)
    • Demonstrated procedural and technical writing skills
    • Keen eye for editing and proofing
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Analytical, technical and problem solving skills
    • Leadership, Interpersonal and Human relationships
    • Presentation and facilitation skills
    • Excellent, professional written and verbal communication skills
    • Must possess a quick-study aptitude to learn processes, technical applications and products.

    • Project deadlines may entail occasional extended work hours

    • Wide degree of latitude and creativity should be expected.

    • Knowledge of LMS management (preferred)

    • Payment processing, First Data, FIS, Mastercard, Visa knowledge (preferred)
