  • Overview

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a Client Business Manager on the East Coast to develop, grow and maintain existing client opportunities/relationship at the senior management level for smaller credit unions. This individual will conduct on-site visits with clients nationwide, service as an executive-level liaison, as well as evaluate, analyze, market, present, demonstrate, and sell products and services. The ability to achieve and maintain superior levels of client satisfaction, especially at the executive level, is required.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Active listening skills and the ability to communicate strategic ideas effectively in both written and verbal communications throughout all levels of an organization, especially with C-level executives.
    • Outstanding interpersonal/relationship management and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to escalate issues throughout levels of an organization appropriately.
    • Must be a self-starter, collaborative, detail orientated and able to take leadership role into all phases of the sales cycle.
    • Must possess an understanding of consultative selling and effectively execute on product sales.
    • Customer/client service and leadership orientation – support strategic future, culture and leadership practice.
    • Escalation point for clients assigned to direct reports.
    • Maintain a profitable relationship with each assigned client.
    • Travel of up to 40% is required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
    • Thorough financial services and technology industry knowledge.
    • Ability to self-manage and maintain a flexible schedule, which will include extensive travel time.
    • A proven track record of growing relationships with executive level management for credit unions $500M assets and below while demonstrating value to the client.
    • Ability to articulate complex or simple concepts “in the moment”.
    • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new products, services, and technologies.
    • Ability to negotiate longer term contracts, neutralize objections and exhibit value at an executive level.
