  • The Opportunity

    CO-OP Financial Services provides technically superior products and services to financial institutions across the nation. We are seeking a talented Project Manager II to be responsible for applying fundamental project management knowledge and experience to manage the implementation of Canadian related products and services. The Project Manager has a solid understanding of the tasks and resources required to manage an effective implementation and therefore are able to use that knowledge to develop a project plan, implementation schedule and track tasks to closure to ensure the schedule is achieved within predetermined budgets. The Project Manger leads the project team and is responsible for the communications, risks and budgets to ensure the client is satisfied with the result. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the end to end user testing activities of the project.


    • Delivers effective, accurate, and consistent communication to project teams, management, external clients, and vendors.
    • Leads and manages the end to end user testing effort of the project in developing and maintaining test use cases; testing the use cases; resolving any test issues; and reviewing the testing process with internal or external stakeholders to obtain sign off and approval for implementation.
    • Provides project related training to co-workers and client and updates any required business documentation
    • Proactively pursues development opportunities that support project management knowledge growth.
    • Leads and manages the project lifecycle to deliver multiple project initiatives such as internal intiatives, major and minor system enhancements, card product enhancements, industry & regulatory requirements, existing client projects, new client start ups, conversions, and de-conversions.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • 5-7 years of project management/coordination experience preferred.
    • 4-6 years in credit/debit/prepaid card experience preferred.
    • Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project expereince preferred.
