    We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst to be responsible for analyzing and reporting our portfolio’s performance to aid management strategy and decision-making. Duties will include: data management, data validity, list selection, executing and evaluating the results of multiple sets of data, with a focus on dashboard reporting. Candidate must be analytical yet personable, as well as have strong technical skills while being a strong communicator to non-technical colleagues.

    What You Can Look Forward to

    • Ability to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
    • Identify, extract, and determine the key characteristics of market segments, with an eye toward actionable opportunities.
    • Build out measurement capabilities using business intelligence and data visualization tools which represent results in easy-to-understand, interactive dashboards where appropriate.
    • Suggest and develop test-and-learn strategies that advance our client’s marketing understanding to help efficiently and effectively achieve credit card program goals.
    • Performs/oversees other duties/projects, as assigned.
    • Work with internal systems to more efficiently use data.
    • Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
    • Engage with clients’ IT departments to understand where data resides and provide recommendations for key data integration points.
    • Build business processes to efficiently meet reporting needs, for example, customer profiling tools, queries to deliver sales leads, and other ad hoc requests.
    • Take the lead on data validity and work with systems partners to promote data hygiene.
    • Possess a broad understanding and expertise of reporting/analysis principals and strategies.
    • Regular attendance and punctuality as a full time employee in order to daily exercise all of these essential functions.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • Five + years of prior financial analysis or related work.
    • Four year degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
    • Ability to extract, merge and analyze data from a wide variety of sources (databases, text files, Google Analytics, etc.) and present that to the target audience.
    • Manage a variety of projects and tasks as assigned. Exhibit resourcefulness, creativity and forward-thinking mindset.
    • Possesses business analytics skills.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively understand and teach financial concepts to a variety of audiences.
    • Ability to make recommendations based on prior experience and judgment.
    • Ability to implement new ideas and influence others to produce better decisions.
    • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Expert knowledge of MS Office Excel - (vlookup, hlookup, pivot tables, sumif, if, filtering, sorting, conditional formatting).
    • Experience with data visualization tools (ex. Tableau, Business Objects or other dashboard tools).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented.
    • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions to completion.
    • Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage/prioritize multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
    • Self-motivated/self-starter.
