    We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to make informed decisions and ensure efficient use of resources. 

     

    What You Can Look Forward to

    • Forecasts revenue and costs of assigned products and services on a periodic (e.g., monthly/quarterly) and ad hoc basis.
    • Prepares monthly product P&Ls for assigned products and services to determine if corrective action is required and communicate to management.
    • Performs network analysis on a monthly basis to identify any variances, determine the reason for such variance, and provide recommendation to eliminate/reduce such variance.
    • Performs fee billing analysis, research, and projects.
    • Provides financial guidance to other departments in the creation of ROIs, analyze/document key assumptions used, and prepare executive summaries for presentation to management.
    • Prepares and updates cost of capital assumption for use in ROI, NPV, and IRR on a periodic basis (e.g., annually).
    • Maintains and updates the standard ROI questionnaire.
    • Assists other departments in identifying KPIs and interpreting the results.
    • Coordinates and performs audits of invoices in accordance with the audit schedule, including updating audit program and template.
    • Provides recommendations to management (e.g., opportunities to improve profitability, increase product value, and reduce costs).
    • Acts as finance representative on product launch teams.
    • Determines and creates finance training for non-financial personnel.
    • Prepares ad-hoc reports.
    • Mentors the Financial Analyst I.
    • Mentors the accounting team in analyzing and interpreting financial data.
    • Trains others in analyzing and interpreting financial data (e.g., KPIs, actual vs. budget variances).
    • Performs/oversees other duties/projects, as assigned.
    • Must react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
    • Regular attendance and punctuality as a full time employee in order to daily exercise all of the essential functions.
    • Responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and modeling for core products and services and select ancillary products and services that cross multiple business units.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • Minimum of 4 years related financial analysis and complex modeling/data analysis work required.
    • Four year degree in finance or accounting is highly preferred.
    • Masters level degree or other related certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to work independently (e.g., with less structured) and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Exceptional business analytics and financial modeling abilities. 
    • Ability to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively understand and teach complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
    • Ability to work both independently and as a member of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, demanding business environment.
    • Ability to work independently (e.g., with less structure) and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Self-starter with strong work ethic, enthusiasm and ability to energize others.
    • Ability to implement new ideas and influence others to produce better decisions.
    • Strong understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is preferred.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel.
