    We are seeking a talented Integration Engineer II of Finance to serve as the product owner for our enterprise financial applications and provides subject matter expertise and technology strategy for the Finance department, the Fusion application, and CO-OP clients. This includes troubleshooting and creating solutions to reach the desired business objective. The Integration Engineer, Finance will provide support on the most difficult problems, always keeping the bigger picture in mind. The Integration Engineer, Finance is expected to be both a general CO-OP solution and technology expert with deep SME knowledge and experience in his/her area of specialization and/or the ability to quickly assimilate this information.

    • Consult with Finance department and other internal business units on ways that technology can be better leveraged to improve financial and business processes.
    • Partner with BPI team to align process improvements with enterprise finance applications.
    • Integrate enterprise finance applications to foster the smooth exchange of information between various departmental workflow tools.
    • Support sales teams in pre and post-sale activities, taking an art-of-the possible lens, being an active listener and participant in creating solution integration points for the client, listening for client needs across the CO-OP technology catalog.
    • Work with the Finance department and other internal business units to assess their technology portfolios and develop technology roadmaps that align with the organizations strategic priorities, assisting with development of business case and project charter.
    • Research existing and assess new systems, features and functions to support financial requirements and CO-OP strategic business needs.
    • Structure and present recommendations exhibiting exceptional communication skills.
    • Build strong internal and external partnerships, prepare high quality documentation and presentations, and mentor/help develop junior resources.
    • Develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.
    • Determine if technology solution is needed by having detailed knowledge and understanding of the customer’s business processes.
    • Identify, manage, and help resolve technology issues that impede business objectives.
    • Respond to inquiries from customers regarding technologies and opportunities within relevant technical area.
    • Enable well-informed decision making by advising customers on the advantages and disadvantages of various options to the customer.
    • Identify best practices and implement them to solve problems and address challenges more effectively.
    • Enable well-informed decision making by advising clients on the advantages and disadvantages of various options aligned with product and technology offerings.
    • Effectively integrate several different perspectives to create an optimal solution.
    • Address the impact of changes in business and technology strategies and conceive a role for technology when solving business problems.
    • Work effectively with a wide range of people across the enterprise.
    • Understand changing business needs for supported area and recommend strategies for the future.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    College degree and/or 10+ years of experience with financial technology solutions, credit/debit processing, settlement, and back-office operations.

    • Has thorough knowledge of internal Financial CO-OP systems.  Knowledge of processing platforms, First Data, FIS, MasterCard and Visa Products is a plus.
    • Is a finance and accounting industry expert with deep SME knowledge and experience in his/her area of specialization with the ability to quickly assimilate this information.
    • Various SME responsibilities may include:

    Finance and accounting packages.

    Billing software.

    Shared Branching and a Debit/Credit card operations specialist (settlement, balancing and reconciliation, and chargebacks).

    Debit & Credit payments processing.

    Debit and Credit Settlement (balancing and reconciliation).

    Chargeback operations.

    CO-OP Shared Branching.

    Enterprise applications such as Salesforce and SharePoint.

    Shared Branching products & services such as remote deposit capture (desktop and mobile),Call center operations, Sprig (online and mobile), CO-OP Mobile, eZforex, ImagineIF and CUNA Loan Liner.

    CO-OP standalone branch operations.

    APIs, data feeds and exchange (XML, JSON).

    • Is able to identify new technologies, partners, and applications to enhance and improve the companies market or internal offerings.
    • Possess and utilize strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms and/or business concepts in technical terms.
    • Articulate ideas and solutions to influence others toward a desired outcome or solution.
    • Develop and maintain teamwork orientation with individuals internal to and external to ET&S.
