We are seeking a talented Business Development Analyst to lead strategic projects and other data quality remediation planning activities. This position closely partners with business and operational teams. The Business Development Analyst detects patterns and possible solutions from smaller to medium volumes of data.  

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Leads strategic data driven projects. 
  • Follows and advises on industry standards and advances on data driven technologies and tools. 
  • Analyzes data to determine relationships between large datasets and project requirements.
  • Creates complex end-to-end data flow diagrams and logical data models.
  • Communicates complex SQL, T-SQL scripts for various reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Documents business requirements, source to target data mapping; collaborates with technology teams; designs, develops, tests and works with Consultants.
  • Documents System of Record data models and maps to business process.
  • Documents data mapping specification designs, data feed specifications, data analysis and data comparison.
  • Develops and documents data remediation requirements and plans for specific client needs.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Completion of high school, or equivalent.
  • BS in Analytics, Data Science, Data Management, CIS plus 2+ years’ experience as a data analyst or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with data technologies, process, data mapping tools with highly complex and integrated business models.
  • Ability to analyze data to determine relationships between large datasets.
  • An understanding of data warehousing methodologies.
  • Financial industry knowledge.
  • Agile methodologies.
  • An understanding of benefit of BI tools and how to communicate value to Consultants for client interactions.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and SSRS.
  • MS Excel.
  • Tableau Desktop Pro.
  • MS Office including Visio 2013.
