We are seeking a talented Director, Client Optimization Strategy to drive revenue based on relationship selling – identifying the needs of our existing clients and prospects via deep discovery sessions, and design strategy to solve to client needs with CO-OP’s suite of products and solutions, and recommendations for operational, strategic, and partnership alignment. The Director, Client Optimization Strategy will be responsible for defining the sales & retention strategies for our top 25 prospects, as well as Top 25 clients in the renewal cycle, or those significant existing clients that are at risk for attrition.  Actions taken by Director, Client Optimization Strategy are in partnership of the Sales & Account Management Teams, consisting of Executive Management Team (EMT), Regional Sales Managers (RSM), Division Executives (DEs), and Client Business Managers and Executives (CBE/CBMs), and Sales Engineers (SE). The Director, Client Optimization, will work closely with the rest of the Strategic Client Development team to leverage key industry partnerships (external technology and consulting partners) throughout RFPs, and the design of sales and retention strategies. - Additional responsibilities include ongoing strategy to internal partners and teams who service CO-OP clients. - Specific goals and accountability of this role include: - Identify and create customized CO-OP sales strategies through building key relationships with identified target clients and prospects. - Perform diligence to understand prospects’ pain points and payment opportunities to generate Credit Union member centricity. - Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers and Client Business Executives on net new sales and renewal opportunities. - Work collaboratively with Client Business Executives and leadership teams within CO-OP to conduct proactive optimization engagements for at risk clients outside the renewal cycle, and design “get healthy” action plans to drive long term loyalty and retention. - Partner with Sales Engineers (SEs) on strategies to tailor SE’s presentations based on findings. - Document and articulate key findings for internal and external stakeholders. - Build fast and deep relationships to promote CO-OP as a trusted advisor and collaborative long-term partner. - Demonstrate a clear understanding of Credit, Debit, and core payment processing platforms. - Serve as a solutions strategist and partner every step of the way in concert with the Executive Management Team, Sales Leadership, and cross functional stakeholders to increase revenue and retention business for CO-OP. - Reflect, refine, and customize on-going, fluid, sales & retention strategies based upon learnings from key engagements. - Direct, mentor, and manage team of Client Optimization Analysts. - Provide overall direction, management, and evaluation of the entire team.
